top ten :: 2008 :: happy new year!

here are some of my faves from 2008 — from weddings, portrait sessions, and my personal life.  i had almost 30 photos that are my faves from the year, and sort of randomly selected ten of them…

this is definitely my favourite detail shot from the year…

i can’t even identify what i love about this photo.  i know it’s not technically a top ten, but there’s something about it that i love so much…

this one is so much better bigger…. there’s something about zin’s face that is just so perfect…

re: holiday special!

dear blog readers,

hari and sowmya :: day-after session.

i love these two. so so much. they were out with amber and i for hours and hours… i couldn’t tell you how many times they heard us say “just one more shot…” but they never complained, and always gave it their all. it’s pretty clear that these photos reflect that, and i hope that they love them as much as i do.

this belongs on a gigantic canvas…

i love the way harry looks at sowmya…

i’ve been saving this spot for photos for about six months… it came out just like i pictured..

jaclyn and chris :: day-after session.

while in san antonio, i was able to shoot a bridal session for jaclyn and chris. they were perfect models, clearly great people, and it was wonderful to meet both of them. we only spent about 30 minutes or so shooting, but i am crazy about so many of the images….

such a beautiful girl. and such perfect teeth!
